Lent Schedule
Ash Wednesday is on Feb. 6, and Gloria Dei will have a brief worship at noon and a Eucharistic worship service at 7:30. There will be imposition of ashes at both services.
Please join us throughout the season of Lent for Saturday morning prayer breakfasts at 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall.

Christmas Pagaent
After much hard work, the Sunday School children told the story of the birth of Christ during worship on Dec. 23 with the annual Christmas Pagaent.

Souper Bowl of Caring
This Sunday, Feb. 3, is Superbowl Sunday, but at Gloria Dei we are also celebrating Souper Bowl Sunday. The youth of our congregation are collecting donations of money and food to be given to the interfaith food pantry. Please bring your donations with you to worship!

Too often, I think, we underestimate what God does in our life. We get caught up in what God has saved us from, that we forget about what God saves us for. God does not simply save us from something, God saves us for something. Our readings today speak with incredible consistency about this.
