Christmas Pageant

Advent by Candlelight – A Generous Spirit
$1400 was donated through Advent by Candlelight to a battered women’s shelter in Newark. The women donated over $900, with $500 matching fund from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. May God multiply these gifts so that all may know love and shelter in this season.

Advent by Candlelight – A Beautiful Witness
90 women gathered on Monday, December 1 to start the season off right. They sang carols, listened to beautiful music, appreciated a liturgical dance troupe, shared a meal, had a “clayful” competition, and gathered in the warmth and light of a candlelit evening.
